As a tune-up to the 470 Junior World Championship taking place on the 2020 Olympic waters in Tokyo JPN on the coming weekend, the 470 Japan National Championship began yesterday. 110 teams from 25 nations, among them the double Olympic Champions Matthew Belcher/Will Ryan AUS are on the entry list.
One race was sailed on the opening day, the fleet split in three Groups with Daichi Takayama/Kimihiko Imamura JPN, Tetsuya Isozaki/Akira Takayanagi JPN and Lucas Calabrese/Ian Macdiarmid USA as winners. The ranking list.
Today's races are already underway and the results will be posted during this morning on the event website. The event facebook page with pictures.
