VOR65 - Ocean Race 2017/18 - Lissabon POR - Leg 2 - Day 2

The fleet continues the fast ride South in moderate trade winds aroud 20kn, a spectacular but also very wet affair ..... see the video. Already now, some strategical moves on how to detour the doldrums seem apparent, that influence the actual positions.
New in the lead is 'Scallywag' of David Witt AUS, last to veer West, but the fleet is still rather compact. 'Mapfre' with Xavi Fernandez ESP follows 11nm behind, 'Dongfeng' with Charles Caudrelier FRA is another 5nm back.
