Solo round the world record - François Gabart FRA - Day 17

The unconstant weather on the South Indian Ocean forced François Gabart FRA on a more southern route. In temperatures around the freezing point, he is now sailing in the 'Howling Fifties' in rather light winds, loosing some miles on the record, but he is still 754nm ahead.
