29er - World Championship 2018 - Hong Kong HKG - Day 3
Friday, January 5, 2018
No racing was possible on the first day of the 29er World Championship in Hongkong due to too stormy wind. Yesterday, still in a fresh breeze, four races were completed. Benjamin Jaffrezic/Leo Chauvel FRA took the overall lead with two race wins, followed by Henry Larkings/Miles Davey AUS and Lachie Brewer/Max Paul AUS on the ranks 2 and 3. 58 teams from 12 nations participate.
Racing today is already underway - four heats are planned - and the currently updated ranking list informs on the standings with final results of the Qualification Series by noon. As from tomorrow, the Championship will continue with the Finals in Gold- and Silverfleets.
