Figaro 3 - Solo Maître Coq - Les Sables d'Olonne FRA - Today Start

This morning at 11h, the French Singlehanded Championship will be kicked off with the start of the Solo Maitre Coq 350-mile long-distance race. Short regattas are then on the program for the coming weekend. In addition to the veterans of the class, two Germans are competing for the first time with Jörg Riechers GER and the 49erFX Olympic silver medallist Susanne Beucke GER. Also participating for the first time is Basile Bourgnon FRA, son of Yvan Bourgnon FRA/SUI. A total of 33 solo skippers from 6 nations will tackle the race today. ----- The preview.
