F50-Catamaran - Sail GP 24/25 - Act 2 - Auckland NZL - Final results - Victory for Team Australia

There were fresh winds this morning in Auckland for the final of the Sail GP: Team Australia (Tom Slingsby), Team GBR (Dylan Fletcher GBR) and Team Spain (Diego Botin ESP) secured their place in the final in the two contested final qualifying races. Team Italia made a strong start with Olympic champion Ruggero Tita ITA, finishing in 6th place in their first outing. Team Switzerland (Sébastien Schneiter/Arnaud Psarofaghis SUI) started the day slowly with two 10th places, but managed to book a 4th place in the final race and moved up to 7th place in the final rankings. Team GER with Erik Heil GER follow in 8th place. In the final, Team AUS clearly dominated at first, but Team ESP was able to catch up before the final run, but it was not to be enough. ----- The leaderboard and the report.
