
Maxi Class - Ferrari Hypersail, a 100-foot Foiler

Ferrari in Maranello, Italy, is currently building the prototype of a groundbreaking 100-foot foiling monohull. Leading French naval architect Guillaume Verdier is responsible for this maxi yacht, designed for stable gliding on three contact points. One hydrofoil is connected to a canting keel. The other support points are the rudder and, alternatively, one of the two side hydrofoils. This state-of-the-art vessel combines the most advanced Ferrari technology with maritime innovation as the first fully-foiling ocean racer that is completely energy self-sufficient. ---- - The boat is currently being built in Italy and is scheduled to be launched in 2026, followed shortly thereafter by sea trials and tuning. ----- The official announcement and a report.
