2025 ILCA 4 Youth World Championships - July 24th

Yesterday, the first two final races of the 2025 ILCA 4 Youth World Championships were held in sunny, warm weather with a sea breeze, divided into gold and silver fleets. ----- In the boys' fleet, the three Greeks remained in the lead, with Konstantinos Portosalte GRE 9 points ahead of Emmanouil Anastasios Vomvylas GRE and 17 points ahead of Stefanos Samaras GRE. Tied for third place is Erik Scheidt BRA in fourth, and Nathan Wehrle FRA, two points behind in fifth, will also be fighting for bronze. Leo Gosling SUI has improved to a respectable 16th place. Edward Hirsch SUI is 54th. The third Swiss sailor in the Gold Fleet, Yann Van De Vyver SUI, is in 60th place. ---- - In the girls' competition, Blanca Ferrando Babe ESP now has a 7-point lead in the top group over a trio with Derin Bartan TUR, Isabella Suazo PER, and Adele Ramm-Ericson SWE in 2nd to 4th place, separated by only 4 points.
