The finals of the Junior World Championship began yesterday in grey weather and moderate winds. Richard Schultheis/Youenn Bertin MLT extended their lead in the 49er to 23 points ahead of today's final day, with 3 races on the programme. Pablo Rüegge/Linus Abicht SUI are in 6th place in the close chasing group, just 6 points behind the silver medal! In the 49erFX Katharina Schwachhofer/Elena Stoltze GER now lead by 4 points ahead of Sofia Giunchiglia/Giulia Schio ITA, the decision will be made today. In the Nacra 17, Kwinton and Lieselotte Berghijs BEL continued their series of top three finishes and took the lead with an 8-point advantage over Clément Martineau/Adélie Bertin FRA.
