The first ISAF Olympic Classes Worldcup 2016 event was concluded in Melbourne this morning with the Medal Races.
A 3rd rank was good enough for Colin Cheng SIN to defend his lead in the Lasers Standard. Thomas Saunders NZL and Jeremy O'Conell AUS completed the podium. Christoph Bottoni SUI, the only Swiss participant in Melbourne, remained on rank 18 among the 35 entrants.
In the Lasers Radial, Ashley Stoddart AUS defended her lead ahead of Susannah Pyatt NZL, who replaced Tatiana Droszdowskaya BLR, only 8th in the Medal Race, on the 2nd place overall.
