Mini 650 - Mini-Transat - Las Palmas ESP - Leg 2 - Day 11, the Swiss
Sunday, November 12, 2017

580nm were left for the Protos leader Ian Lipinski POL yesterday evening, and with daily distances around 170nm, he will reach Martinique by Wednesday morning. With an advantage of 121nm on Jörg Riechers GER, he can hardly be catched. The duel for the ranks 2 and 3 however remains open. Admittedly, Simon Koster SUI lost quite some miles yesterday, but during the night, the wind turned in his favour - he is about 2kn faster on his northern course - an his backlog on Riechers was again down on 17nm.
The distances between the leading Series Minis remained stable. Erwan Le Draoulec FRA was 66nm ahead of Clarisse Crémer FRA. Valentin Gautier SUI on rank 6 follows with a 147nm deficit.
