49er, 49er FX, Nacra 17 - Youth World Championship 2024 - Galicia ESP - Final results

The Junior World Championship of the Olympic speed classes ended yesterday with another 3 races held in fresh offshore winds. ----- Richard Schultheis/Youenn Bertin MLT came out on top of the 49ers. Francesco Karyrouz/Hamish McLaren NZL and Simon Heindl/Conrad Jakobs GER took the other medals. Pablo Rüegge/Linus Abicht SUI remained in 6th place. ----- In the 49ersFX, Sofia Giunchiglia/Giulia Schio ITA managed to oust the previous leaders Katharina Schwachhofer/Elena Stoltze GER from the top spot. Bronze went to Gabriela Czapska/Hanna Rajchert POL. ----- After the French dominated the Nacra 17 at the beginning of the World Championships, it ended yesterday with a Belgian double victory: Kwinton and Lieselotte Berghijs BEL took the title, with Arthur de Jonghe/Janne Ravelingien BEL moving up to second place as the best of the day. Thomas Proust/Eloise Clabon FRA took Bronze. Axel Grandjean/Noëmi Fehlmann SUI ended the World Championships with a race win, remaining in 8th place overall, just ahead of Andrea Aschieri/Anja Camusso SUI. ----- The report with a link to all rankings.
