Olympic Games 2024 - Marseille FRA - Day 2

A slight seabreeze set in a little late yesterday, strong enough for a short time for the iQ-Foil windsurfers to finish one race each. ----- Nicolas Goyard FRA won ahead of Nicolo Renna ITA. Elia Colombo SUI follows in 9th place, directly ahead of Sebastian Kördel GER. ----- The women were able to finish two races. Emma Wilson GBR took the lead with 1st and 2nd place, with Marta Magetti ITA and Maria Bazo PER sharing 2nd place 5 points behind. ----- The skiffs were able to finish a full program with three races. Isaac McHardie/William McKenzie AUS shone with two race wins and extended their lead to 6 points. Robert Dickson/Sean Waddilove IRL are still 2nd, Diego Botin/Florian Trittel ESP moved up to 3rd place. Jakob Meggendorfer/Andreas Spranger GER are an excellent 4th, while Sébastien Schneiter/Arno De Planta SUI only had one good race (3rd place) and dropped back to 12th. ----- In the 49erFX, Sarah Steyaert/Charline Picon FRA continued their series of 2nd places and took the lead. Odile Van Aanholt/Anette Duetz NED are already 10 points behind in 2nd place. Jana Germani/Giorgia Bertuzzi ITA follow in 3rd place and Marla Bergmann/Hanna Wille GER are now 4th. ----- All rankings and the reports.
