Finn - European Championship - Cannes FRA - Final results - Title for Alessandro Marega ITA

Fresh easterly winds and rain made for a sporting final on the last day of the Finn European Championships. ----- Alessandro Marega ITA and Valerian Lebrun FRA dueled for the title until the final race, with the Italian securing the title with 3rd place (directly behind Christoph Burger SUI) in the last race, 7 points ahead of Lebrun FRA. Bronze went to Kristof Kaiser HUN. Christoph Burger finished in an excellent 6th place, while Dominique Wälchli SUI and Laurent Chapuis SUI, who also sailed in the gold fleet, finished the European Championship in 44th and 57th positions respectively. 152 participants from 24 nations took part. ----- The ranking list, the final report and the report of the Swiss team.
