For the first time today, sailing took place in fresh winds. This particularly favoured Diego Botin/Florian Trittel ESP: they took the lead with places 2/3/3. Richard Dickson/Sean Waddilove IRL are already 11 points behind in 2nd place. A further 4 points behind them are Isaac McHardy/William McKenzie NZL - after their strong light wind performance they did not manage a top ten classification today. Sébastien Schneiter/Arno De Planta SUI (today 1/5/15) are now 7th, 13 points behind the podium. Another 3 qualifying races are on the programme tomorrow, followed by the Medal Race on Thursday.
