29er - World Championship 2024 - Aarhus DEN - Day 1

In light winds, the 29er World Championship began yesterday in Aarhus with three races each. The huge fleet - 256 teams from 27 nations - sailed in 6 groups. ----- With 3 race wins in their group, Ewa Lewandowska/Krysztof Krolnik POL and Alex Demurtas/Giovanni Santi ITA took the lead with equal points. Lucas Patrick/Luke Rogers AUS follow 2 points behind. Truman Rogers/Paula Lepa GER are the best of the huge German delegation in 11th place. Switzerland is represented by more than 20 teams, five are currently in the top 100, the best being Jacob Bründler/Thierry Stucki SUI in 38th place. ----- The rankings and the Facebook page.
