5o5 - World Championship 2024 - Varberg SWE - Day 1

The 5o5 World Championship started yesterday in Varberg (between Gothenburg and Malmö). Two races were sailed in light winds. The first leaders are Jan-Philipp Hoffmann/Felix Brockerhof GER. They already dominated the Pre-Regatta at the weekend. David Ellis/Jim Hunt GBR follow in second place. Caroline and Philippe Jacot SUI got off to an excellent start, following in 7th place with 3rd and 14th. Céderic Barth/René Betschen SUI are in 17th place. 95 teams from 15 nations (including AUS, RSA, USA) are competing.
