Class 40, Ocean Fifty - MedMax - Port Camargue - Day 2

The start of the MedMax, a 600-mile race for two-person teams, the most important event for the two classes in the Mediterranean, took place in light winds in Port Camargue on Sunday. The route for the 16 Class 40 teams leads to Ibiza and then back to the south of France via Sardinia. ----- The 9 Ocean 50 Trimaranes are sailing in the opposite direction and are currently in the doldrums on the east coast of Sardinia, with Thibault Vauchel/Yann Eliès FRA leading by just 0.1 miles ahead of Erwan Le Roux FRA/Pablo Santurde ESP.
