Ocean training with the Lake Thun Sailing School

Last year, the Lake Thun Sailing School (SST) added practical and theoretical offshore trainings to its course program. This season, ocean-type trainings are offered on the wind-safe Lake Thun as well. The SST uses Archambault A40 yachts for harbour manoeuvre training. Skippers as well as entire crews can get fit for the charter season while still in Switzerland. "After two days of intensive manoeuvre training in the narrow harbours on Lake Thun, the harbour manoeuvres on the holiday cruise should no longer be a problem", says SST managing director Simon Brügger. The manoeuvre courses can also be booked as a package with SST's mileage and training cruises on seas. Aspiring ocean skippers can complete their entire ocean training at the Lake Thun Sailing School. For the training and mileage trips on the Mediterranean Sea and on the Atlantic Ocean, SST uses high-performance cruisers with gennakers, this season Salona 44, More 55 and Solaris 50 yachts. ----- All information on offshore training.
