The Para World Championship on Lake Michigan began yesterday with 2 races for the 2.4m, 4 races for the Hansa 303 and 6 races for the RS Venture.
The favorites have already taken the first places in the 2.4m: Heiko Kröger GER and Damien Séguin FRA share the lead. Dee Smith USA follows on rank 3 among the 38 participants.
In the Hansa 303, Jens Kroker GER, Piotr Cichocki POL and Ange Margaron FRA are tied on top after 4 races in the men rankings, in the women, Olga Gornaz POL is first ahead of Marina Perterer AUT.
The RS Venture sail in two 4-boat groups. Alexandra Rickham/Hannah Stodel GBR and Gian Bachisio Pira/Gianluca Raggi ITA lead in their groups.
