The Junior World Championships in the Olympic speed classes begin today on the Spanish Atlantic coast. In the 49er, 60 teams from 24 nations are competing, including Pablo Rüegge/Linus Abicht SUI. The starting signal for the first races of the Youth World Championships will be given today at 2pm on Lake Garda. A total of 480 participants from 70 nations will be competing in the 10 classes. With the exception of the 420 Women and the Formula Kite, Switzerland is represented in all classes. Gian-Andrea Stragiotti SUI, who has just won the U17 Kite-Foiler World Championship, has big chances of success. The races will be broadcast live via GPS-Tracking. The reports.
