The Kite-Foil and iQ-Foil windsurfers finished their qualifications for todays Medal Series: Max Maeder SGP and Riccaedo Pianosi ITA are in the final of the men's Kite-Foil, Gian Stragiotti as 3rd SUI is seeded for the semi-finals. Wan Li CHN and Su Wang CHN are directly among the top 4 in the women's final. Grae Morris AUS and Kun Bi CHN and Tamar Steinberg ISR and Sharon Kantor ISR are in the final of the iQ foil. With 1st and 2nd place on the day, Simon Diesch/Anna Markfort GER have extended their lead over Jordi Xammar/Marta Cardona ESP to 16 points. In the 49er, James Grummett/Rhos Hawes GBR are back at the top. In 27th place, Joshua Richner/Corne Jansson SUI narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Goldfleet. In the 49erFX, Jana Germani/Bianca Caruso ITA have moved up to the top spot. In the ILCA 6, Chiara Benini ITA and Emma Plasschaert BEL are now level on points at the top, followed by Charlotte Rose USA just one point behind. Rosine Baudet SUI is 7th in the Silverfleet (=44 overall). In the ILCA 7, Michael Halliday HKG is still in the lead, with Dimitri Peroni ITA and Duko Bos NED sharing 2nd place just one point behind.  Olympic Worldcup - Semaine Olympique Française - Hyères FRA - Day 3 As expected, the mistral set in yesterday afternoon, in the end with more than 25 knots. The 470s finished one race, again won by Simon DIesch/Anna Markfort GER, who further extended their lead. In the 49er, Hernan Umpierre/Fernando Diz URU took the lead, with James Grummet/Rhos Hawes GBR and Dominik Buksak/Adam Glogowski POL just 2 points behind in 2nd place. Joshua Richner/Corne Janssen SUI were among the best of the day (2/3), moving up to 28th place and fighting for a place in the Gold Fleet (top 25) today. In the 49erFX, Paris Henken/Helena Scut USA took the lead with a 4-point advantage over Isaura Maenhaut/Anouk Goerts BEL and Lara Granier/Amélie Riou FRA, who are tied on points. In the ILCA 6, Anna Munch DEN remained in the lead, with Emma Plasschaert BEL coming within 2 points as the day's best (1/3). Rosine Baudet SUI improved to 43rd place. In ILCA 7, the surprising leader Nicholas Halliday HKG was able to maintain his lead and extend his advantage over Duko Bos NED to 6 points. Boris Hirsch SUI follows in 80th place. Gianluigi Ugolini/Maria Giubilei ITA remain in a class of their own in the Nacra 17, with Laura Farese/Matthias Zölchling AUT already 16 points behind. Andrea Aschieri/Tine Rossel SUI are still 26th and Max Maeder SGP has taken the lead in the Kite Foil, Riccardo Pianosi ITA is the only one who can keep up, 4 points behind.  Optimist - Swiss selection for the Worlds After the Opti series in Portoroz, the Swiss selection for the European Championship and World Championship team has been finalised. Meanwhile, there is a provisional ranking, which is led by Eivinn Löfteröd DRCS and Tim Baile CNP. With Lena Müller DRCS and Lou Eisenhut RCO there are two girls in the World Championship team (top 5). Teo Filliger CVN follows in 5th place.

After a long wait, some seabreeze only set in yesterday afternoon, and the last races finished at sunset. ----- Simon Diesch/Anna Markfort GER extended their lead in the 470 with 2nd and 3rd place. ----- While the 49ers were not in action, the 49ersFX sailed 3 races. Isaura Maenhaut/Anouk Goerts BEL extended their lead with two race wins. ----- In the ILCA 6, Anna Munch DEN won the only race of the day in her group, and Charlotte Rose USA followed in 2nd place. Rosine Baudet SUI is now 47th. ----- In the ILCA 7, all groups also managed to finish a race: Michael Hallyday HKG moved to the top with a 2nd place in the race and the strike result.  ILCA 6 - Youth European Championship 2025 - Vilamoura POR - Final results Yesterday, the ILCA 6 Junior European Championship ended in the south of Portugal with 2 more races in 10-20 knots of wind. ----- Hermione Ghicas GRE won her second consecutive women's title after last year's U17. Senna Wright IRL, took silver, and defending champion Anna Shapovalova UKR consolidated her 3rd place with another two race wins. Camille Valloton SUI finished 47th and thus 5th in the U17 rankings, and Yara Roth SUI was also in the top half of the rankings in 48th. ----- In the men's event, Tim Lubat ESP concluded the Championship convincingly with the ranks 1 and 2. Today sees the start of the Figaro 3 class Transat in Concarneau, the only transatlantic regatta for one-design yachts. At the start are 19 mixed two-person teams from 4 nations. ILCA 6 - Youth European Championship 2025 - Vilamoura POR - Day 5

In light winds of around 10 knots, the final regattas of the Junior European Championship continued yesterday with 2 races. Hermionie Ghicas GRE extended her lead in the women's race to 6 points with another race win. The Greek already won the U17 title a year ago. Sienna Wright IRL is still in 2nd place, while Alina Shapovalova UKR was able to hold on to 3rd place with a narrow one-point lead over Gaya Datiashvili ISR. Mirja Dohle GER is now 6th, Camille Vallotton SUI is 48th and thus 5th in the U17 classification, Yara Roth SUI follows directly behind in 49th place. In the men's competition, Alexander Hartsink NED took the lead in the U19 classification with a race win he was already in the lead in the U17 classification.
