Just one race was held for the 2.4m at the Para Worlds on Lake Michigan, and with a race win, Damien Séguin FRA has taken the overall lead ahead of Matthew Bugg AUS. Another point behind follows Dee Smith USA on 3rd. The 4th-placed Heiko Kröger GER is already 14 points back.
The Hansa 303 fleets did apparently not race as the ranking lists were unchanged this morning.
The new RS Venture class has concluded the qualification phase with the two group leaders selected for the final round on Saturday. The remaining participants sail a repechage to select the other finalists. Matteo Balbo/Olivier Bollmann SUI still have a chance to qualify provided they improve their performance by on rank.
