Olympic Games 2024

After 3 races, Georgia Faviou/Amalia Papanikita GRE led by one point ahead of Zeynep Çaçur/Zeynep Ela Köy TUR. On Sunday, the fleet of Minis started the classic to the Azores, the second leg then leads back to Les Sables d'Olonne. The fleet is already in the final approach, 230 miles before Horta. In light winds, the World Junior Windsurfing Championships began on Tuesday on Lake Balaton with their Techno 293. 331 participants from 32 nations, sailing in a total of 7 fleets, have so far completed 9 races in light winds. The Travemünde Week began at the weekend. ----- The Dragons were the first class to complete their Grand Prix yesterday. After 8 races, Jesper Stahlheim SWE and his team won by a narrow margin of one point ahead of Jan Eckert SUI - the ranking Dragon. ----- The German Optimist Championship also started yesterday, and after 3 races, Paul Hickstein GER is in the lead.
