The breeze was very light only on the last day of the AC World Series sailed on the Venice ITA Canale Grande, and only sporadic tiny gusts caused ongoing entertaining position changes. Loïck Peyron FRA with his 'Energy' was first in the last race and with this the overall winner of the Venice Act. The steady favorites 'Oracle Racing - James Spithill' and 'Emirates Team New Zealand' had nothing to do with the decision, as the all French team (plus the Swiss Moth European Champion Arnaud Psarophagis) was on position one right from the first day, winning for the first time a World Series regatta. Winner of the Match Race Final was 'Artemis' (Terry Hutchinson USA) defeating 'Luna Rossa - Piranha' (Chris Draper GBR). The report and the videos.
