 470, 49er, Formula-Kite, iQ-Foil-Windsurf - US Olympic Trials - Miami FL, USA - Day 7 Today is the final day of the US Olympic Trials in Miami. In the two classes that have already secured an Olympic Nations starting place for the USA, Dominique Stater USA appears to be on course for the Olympics in the women's iQ Foil, going into the final day with a 5-point lead. In the 49er, however, it remains exciting: Ian Burrows/Hans Henken USA lead by 2 points ahead of Andrew Mollerus/Ian McDiarmid USA. The 470s still have to fight for a US Olympic starting place at the World Championships in March. Stuart McNay/Lara Dallmann USA are one point ahead of Louisa Nordström/Trevor Bornarth USA, with Carmen Cowles/David Hughes USA a further point behind. The Formula kite and iQ windsurfing men still have the chance to secure a Nations starting place at the 'last-chance regatta' in Hyères at the end of April. All rankings and the daily report.

 470, 49er, Formula-Kite, iQ-Foil-Windsurf - US Olympic Trials - Miami FL, USA - Day 6 Conditions were good yesterday in Miami, with 12-15 knots all 5 classes were able to sail three more races each. It remains tight at the top of the rankings. In the 49er, Ian Barrows/Hans Henken USA now have a one-point lead over Andrew Mollerus/Ian McDiarmid USA. The US 49ers have already secured an Olympic Nations starting place, as have the US iQ Foil women, where Dominique Stater USA leads Bryn Muller USA by 3 points after 18 races. The other three classes still have to qualify at the Worlds this year. In the 470, Stuart McNay/Lara Dallman USA lead by 4 points from Carmen Cowles/David Hughes USA. Things remain exciting in the Formula Kiters, with Martin Edegran USA still in the lead after 16 races, 3 points ahead of Kai Calder USA. After 10 races, Ian Barrows/Hans Henken USA and Andrew Mollerus/Ian McDiarmid USA are tied for the lead in the 49ers. In the Formula Kite - only the men are in action - Markus Edegran USA now leads by 2 points from Kai Calder USA.  Optimist - North American Championship 2022 - Nassau BAH - Final results The North American Opti Championship ended yesterday in the Bahamas with two races. There were no changes on the podium, with Isabella Calzadilla PUR and Diego-José Marrero PUR taking the Puerto Rican double victory. Charles Julien USA followed in third place, Ruben Sulty FRA missed the podium by only one point. After Edward Hirsch had to accept another early start and dropped back to 44th place, Charlotte Siret SUI improved to 40th place. In the Silverfleet, Shari Carrara SUI was 9th (=61 overall).  49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17 - World Championship 2022 - Nova Scotia CAN - Day 3 In light, inconsistent winds, the 49ers completed their qualifications for the Gold and Silverfleet finals with 4 races yesterday. The 49ersFX and the Nacras finished 3 races each. ----- Despite a bad day with ranks 5/31/19, Vilma Bobek/Rebecca Netzler SWE took the lead in the 49ersFX after previous leaders Odile Van Aanholt/Anette Duetz NED also failed to shine with ranks 9/29/25. ----- In the 49ers, Bart Lambriex/Florian Van de Werken NED held on to the top spot, with Diego Botin/Florian Trittel ESP moving up to second, 5 points behind. ----- In the Nacras 17, Ruggero Tita/Caterina Banti ITA had to admit defeat for the first time, but with ranks 20/1/1, they continued to pull away at the top - their lead is already 30 points. ----- The daily report with links to all rankings.  A-Cat - World Championship 2022 - Houston TX, USA - Day 3 Apparently there was too much wind on the Texas coast yesterday for further races for the foilers. After the 5 races sailed so far in good wind - here the report - the Nacra 17 Olympic candidate Ravi Parent USA is clearly leading with 3 race wins in the Foilers. The Classics, on the other hand, were able to finish two races. Again superior Andrew Landenerger AUS with two more race wins. Charles Bueche SUI is a good 9th. All rankings.

 J/70 - 2021 North American Championship - Annapolis MD - Day 4 - No racing on the final day - Peter Duncan, Rye, NY declared Champion As expected, racing had to be canceled as well on the final day of the 2021 J/70 North American Championship hosted by Annapolis Yacht Club (Maryland USA), due to lack of good winds, and the 59 teams had to pack up with three races on the result sheet only. ----- The past-Worldchampion Peter Duncan, Rye, NY, USA and his team were declared Champions 3 points ahead of Ryan McKillen, Miami Beach, FL, USA, and 14 points in front of Terry Hutchinson/Jenn Norwood-Wulff, Annapolis, MD, USA. ----- Finishing 13th overall, Zachary Segal, Miami, FL, and his team topped the 24-boat Corinthian division. ----- Doug Rastello, Newport Beach, CA, bested the eight-boat One-Pro Division. ----- More than half of the teams competing were either all-amateurs or having just one professional crew. ----- The results, the video of the final day, and the J/70 Facebook page.
