 Laser 4.7  World Championship 2010  Pattaya THA  Day 1
The Laser 4.7 World Championship in Pattaya, Thailand kicked off yesterday with two races that were dominated by competitors from Asia. In the under-18-rankings boys, Supakorn Pongwichean THA has a cozy lead over Grigorios Garis GRE and Enej Kocjancic SLO. Top US competitor are Brendan Shanahan in 21st and Alejandro Ruiz-Ramon in 22nd. In the under-18 girls class, the lead after two races belongs to Karis Sakai Nagisa HKG followed by Amirah Hamid Nur MAS and Jittiwa Thanawitwilat THA. Best US finisher here are in 25th Rebekah Schiff, and in 32nd Holly Tullo. The mixed under 16 class has Chaichanawoot Dee-nak THA ahead after two race wins. See the event site.
