After all races had to be cancelled on the first due to gale-force winds, the first two races of the World Championships were sailed yesterday winds between 22 and 25 knots. Numerous capsizes and boat damages characterised the day. Paul Goodison GBR, world champion 2016, sailed dominantly and who won both races. Only Iain Jensen AUS could keep up with him. He was leading in the first race but broke his kicker and had to abandon racing for the day. In the overall standings Goodison GBR is ahead of Brad Funk USA (3/3), Rome Kirby USA is 3rd (7/2). With Victor Diaz de Leon in fifth overall, the US team performed really well yesterday. The Ranking, the Daily report and the event website with the video of the day.
