470 - Japan Championship 2017 - Enoshima JPN - Day 2, Calabrese/MacDiarmid 6th

Three races were held at the 470 Japan Nationals in moderate winds and the discard result was activated. Local teams are on the first three places with Tetsuya Isozaki/Akira Takayanagi JPN as first after two race wins and a second rank in their Group. The favorites and multiple Champions Matthew Belcher/Will Ryan AUS follow on the 4th place. Silvia Mas/Paula Barcelo ESP on the 9th position are the best 470 women team. Lucas Calabrese/Ian MacDiarmid USA are 6th overall among the 112 teams. Impressive the big number of Japanese 470s !
